Night one of wrestlemania
Match 1 Ishowspeed and The Vision vs The Usos and LA Knight yeah:
one hell of wrestlemania opener and not in the good way watching it live was just like ating an air burger where it felt like all there was wow look at ishowspeed in wwe. Did this match have high potential to be a banger, admittedly no however as a kick off to the biggest wrestling show off it just falls short of what should be expected.Tho in kayfabe i do find it funny to save a guy who you jumped in his house less than a week ago.
Match 2 Jacob Fatu vs Drew McIntyre:
Now this match had potential to be the secret banger of the night, keyword being had because watching this match just felt so underwhelming for an unsanctioned match whether compared to previous matches of Drews like hell in a cell at bad blood or previous unsanctioned with Sami vs kevin this match just falls so short as soon as it felt like it was picking up speed it ended. really felt like we were teased and edged with how may chairs Fatu took out just to have about 2 hits and a table spot.
Match 3 Womens 4 way Tag match:
This is where wrestlemania really felt like it picked up feeling like a true high octane fun match, hell we even got Paige back in wwe our british vampire.The Paige re debut wouldve been more hype if it hadnt leaked online before but for those who are not cronically im sure this was just pure hype. At this point in wrestlemania this match was the most hype even if the endin was slightly and mind my cursing "botched" with Bliss just fully missing Paiges legs but thats only because im an asshole who doesnt know how to have fun.
Match 4 Becky Lynch vs AJ Lee:
At this point I was ready to call this revoloution and ignore all the male matches that had happended so far since once again the women delivered what the men couldnt in the first 2 matches with some narly spots like the black widow being countered with Becky just full power slamming AJ into the corner.Both Becky and AJ showed why they are considered the GOATS for womens wrestling the selling was on point along with the pacing.Now all of this also isnt giving credit to the ref who helped sell Becky being an ass i know this story line has been going for a while now but living in the UK (i know im sorry im english too) i do not watch the weekly shows for the sanctitiy of my sleep schedule and am mainly watching wrestling like the 80s, through ples but even with very little context im sure even a 1st time watcher would pick up the beef happening between Becky and the ref. Now all at the end of the some great heel work at the end, maybe cause i love AJ but that heel work with the buckle worked to make me despise Becky
match 5 Seth Rollins vs Guntherrrrrrrrrr:
Seth fucking rollings is back to put on a banger with The Ring Geneal Guntherrr, now for a last minute we promise this was always the plan match they fucking cooked seth even being allowed to through a cheeky flip off. Best way to describe this match is big meaty slapping and by god it was good and then Bron Breaker coming back from injury to hit a nasty spear on Seth just cinema def not the best match on the card but banger after banger.Also the shot of Bron hitting the 2nd spear was just so funny to me (probs cause i was high) watching him run the entire lenth of the ramp was perfect chefs kiss
my notes dont really help me and neither does the highlight package when it comes to this match as it is just fucking skipped. My notes include such things as *Booker T noises* Liv attempting to Booker and that the endung was kinda underwhelming probably why it isnt in the highlights package although kinda fuckin stupid WWE people watch highlights for all the matches not Biancair Belairs pregnancy (congrats to her i see it now Naomi's kid vs Biancer's main eventing wrestlemania 67). i want to start this paragrph with what th fuck was Pat Macafees match graphic like all the other wrestlers photos looked kinda fucked but Pat looked like a demon from wen i took way to much Viagra and MDMA.Anyway i digress this match doesnt start before Pat jumps Raheem luckly doesnt last long with Pat getting to feel why he is called Raheem with a big meaty cross rhodes into a table spot with fucking jelly roll for some reason, the only reason i care to mention this is for 2 reasons A: i wanna make more Raheem jokes before yall crucify me and B: because the table fucking exploded in such a way iv neverseen an announcer dest explode and that was just pure hype to me i mean look at this shit
any way back to the point as this match went on it kept getting more hype for the blood like rand had a nasty crimson mask and just was an amazing show, there was some finisher stealing with Raheem stealing the RKO and Randy stealling the cross rhodes, we had a bit of the classic SVR games minigame where you just smash your opponents head in by spamming A. All eventually coming out to a proper out of no where stunner where due to poor charles robison being down we had to deal with good old viagra and MDMA demon Pat running down the ramp to make the 1 2 3. Never have i been more thankfull to the WWE then them not making that the finish i think i wouldve removed this section from this site if this happended but no Raheem kicks out and still wins and tbh if it ended there woulve been good but no they gave us it they finally let us finish with the punt kick being used and god it is good doesnt beat some older punts but ill take what i can get now time to cath up on AEW from the beginning heard this cm punk dude is gonna be big.
